Treatment
Allocation to intervention
Randomised controlled trial
Procedure for enrolling a subject and allocating the treatment (allocation concealment procedures)
An investigator otherwise not involved with study subjects performed the randomisation, and informed the assessor after a subject's baseline testing was completed. The assessor then informed the subject of their group allocation.
Methods used to generate the sequence in which subjects will be randomised (sequence generation)
Computerised randomisation program, performed by researcher not otherwise involved with study subjects, stratified by gender and body mass index
Masking / blinding
