Description of intervention(s) / exposure
The sole objective of this study is to explore perceptions towards minimalist shoe running style by podiatrists practicing in Western Australia and runners.

Each participant will complete a single online survey which should take approximately 10-20 min

The data from each separate cohort will be collected over a period of three months

The statistical package SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) will be employed to analyse all quantitative data collected from all completed online surveys. Examples of statistical tests that may be used to analyse the data include the Pearson Chi-squared test, for bivariate analysis, and the Mann-Whitney U test, for multivariate analysis.

Key inclusion criteria
Three main separate cohorts including:
1. Current Western Australia registered podiatrists
2. Runners who never use minimalist shoes before
3. Runners who are currently running with minimalist shoes

18 Years

Both males and females
Can healthy volunteers participate?

Key exclusion criteria
Runners:
-Runners just started to run minimalist shoes (MS)
-Runners with chronic diseases: diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis…
-Runners with any foot pain or foot pathology
-No consent

Podiatrists:
-Non-practicing podiatrists
-Student podiatrists
-Podiatrists from other states and other countries
-No consent
